FIRST LIGHT explores the use of colour, light, and pattern in Turkish design history. The collection draws inspiration from the use of light, colour and pattern in the architecture of Istanbul, in particular the revzen-i menkuş, embroidered windows, as well as the intricate patterned geometries of Kündekâri woodwork. FIRST LIGHT is a limited edition contemporary design collection consisting of mirrors and tables applying refraction of light into glass.
