Cevdet Erek is reporting from the 57th edition of Venice Biennial International Art Exhibition at Pavilion of Turkey.
Representing the Pavilion of Turkey, artist Cevdet Erek is describing the making of process and the idea behind 'ÇIN'. ÇIN is a site-specific installation taking architecture and sound to a spatial experience through socio-political discourses.
ÇIN is realised as a spatial program accompanying a multi channelled sound installation, in collaboration with Yelin Bilgin as the project coordinator and memory, Gürden Gür as the architect and soft voice, Elif Tunçel as the architect and friendly face, Ayşe Erek as the art historian and sister and Yetkin Başarır as the visual identity designer. Organised by IKSV, Pavilion of Turkey can be visited at Arsenale till the 26th of November.
